How this started
A spare room, a stack
of unfinished shows.
Elder Lane Audio began the way most stubborn things do: annoyed. We kept subscribing to podcasts with sharp hosts and real ideas, then bailing three minutes in because the audio was a fight to listen to — hollow rooms, mics too far away, one guest twice as loud as the other.
So the first version of this studio was a spare room on Elder Lane and a promise to one friend: send me the raw file, I’ll hand you back something people can actually sit through. That episode did numbers the previous nine didn’t. Word moved.
Seven years later the gear is better and the room is treated, but the deal hasn’t changed one inch. You make the show. We make sure nobody quits it over the sound.
